1. The service

mboxreader lets you open and read .mbox email backups in your browser. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

2. Your data stays local

The mailbox you open is processed entirely in your browser and is not uploaded to us. You are responsible for the files you open and for keeping your own backups of them.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). One person, one account.

4. Acceptable use

Only open files you have the right to access. Do not use the service for anything illegal, and do not attempt to disrupt it or gain unauthorized access. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

5. No warranty

mboxreader is a viewer provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranty of any kind. It is not a backup service; keep your own copies of your files. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data.

6. Termination

You may stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or expose the service to legal risk. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; the "last updated" date above will change. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
